The Minister for Social Affairs concedes that people's concerns are growing. What can the Free State do to give people support?
Munich (dpa/lby) - Social issues and Bavarian social policy are the focus of the cabinet meeting and the plenary session in the state parliament on Tuesday. The focus is primarily on a government statement by Social Affairs Minister Ulrike Scharf (CSU).
"So far, Bavaria has coped well with the times of crisis," said Scharf in advance. This was confirmed by the scientific data of the new social report. "But people's concerns are growing," she admitted. "In addition to the long-term security of our prosperity and old-age provision, we want to renew the future promise in the current situation that we will ensure stable living conditions in Bavaria and support active citizens as well as those in need," announced Scharf.
