Bavaria: Söder honors the deceased Queen: "Moral authority"

Munich (dpa / lby) - Bavaria's Prime Minister Markus Söder (CSU) reacted concerned to the death of the Queen. "This news is deeply affecting and sad. An era ends with the death of Queen Elizabeth II," Söder wrote on Twitter on Thursday evening. "For 70 years she was queen and at the same time moral authority and compass. All of Bavaria will miss her too. Our thoughts are with the family and the United Kingdom." The Queen died on Thursday at the age of 96.
