Bavaria: Söder orders three-day mourning flags

Munich (dpa / lby) - Bavaria's Prime Minister Markus Söder (CSU) after the death of Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI. a three-day mourning flag was ordered. It applies to all state offices in the Free State from Saturday to January 2, 2023, the State Chancellery announced. Municipalities, counties and districts as well as other corporations, institutions and foundations under public law are asked to proceed in the same way.
