Rohrdorf (dpa / lby) - After five years, a sailing boat stolen in Upper Bavaria has reappeared - in a motorway parking lot. The boat named "Sonja", which was stolen in Kochel am See in May 2017, has now been discovered by security investigators at a rest area on Autobahn 8 near Rohrdorf (Rosenheim district).
As the police announced on Thursday, the investigators noticed the sailing ship and trailer on Tuesday. "Someone parked it in the parking lot and then drove on." The officers seized the boat, which was worth around 10,000 euros. The police are now hoping for clues as to which lakes the boat may have been sighted on in recent years.
