Bavaria: Straubing Tigers extend with ice hockey striker Connolly

Straubing (dpa / lby) - Mike Connolly (33) continues to storm for the Straubing Tigers. As the Lower Bavarian club from the German Ice Hockey League announced on Thursday, the Canadian is entering his eighth season with the Tigers. "Mike is an absolute win for our team and for the entire organization. He has a strong character and an excellent ice hockey mind. That makes him an indispensable leader in our team," said Straubing's sporting director, Jason Dunham, explaining the further cooperation. So far, Connolly has made 343 appearances for Bayern, scoring a total of 79 goals and 204 assists.
