Bayreuth (dpa / lby) - A drunk 19-year-old got stuck trying to climb over a metal fence at a supermarket in Bayreuth, Upper Franconia. At around 3 a.m. on Saturday night, he became so entangled that he hung over the fence for more than 45 minutes, police said on Tuesday. According to a police spokesman, he was "clearly intoxicated" when officers found him. The 19-year-old had previously called for help, and close citizens informed the emergency services. The police officers freed him from the predicament and handed him over to the emergency services. During the climb, the 19-year-old injured his upper arm and shoulder.
