Neuching (dpa / lby) - After a suspected violent attack on a man in the Upper Bavarian district of Erding, a 24-year-old is in custody on suspicion of attempted homicide. The victim, unconscious for several minutes, was taken to a hospital.
According to police information on Wednesday, the 27-year-old wanted to settle a dispute between the 24-year-old and another man after a party in Neuching. He was hit to the ground by one of the two opponents with his fist. The 24-year-old suspect is said to have kicked his victim's head with his foot.
An employee of a security service noticed the incident on Sunday and intervened. The 24-year-old initially fled, but was arrested shortly afterwards as part of the manhunt.
