Munich (dpa / lby) - The police arrested a 75-year-old in Munich on suspicion of sexual abuse of children. The man is said to have abused a ten-year-old boy who took private lessons with him, the police said on Friday. He has been in custody since the end of May.
As early as 2021, the police received information that the 75-year-old was in close contact with several boys. At the time of the investigation, the police had no concrete evidence of abuse. After months of research, the police then found a 43-year-old who had contact with the now 75-year-old in his childhood. According to police, he said he was molested by the man in 1988.
During the subsequent search of the man's apartment in May, the investigators found child pornography material and evidence of sexual abuse and the production of child pornography. The Commissariat for Combating Sexualized Violence against Children is now investigating the 75-year-old.
