Dinkelsbühl (dpa / lby) - A swan blocked a road in Middle Franconia and thus triggered a police operation. The animal had settled on a street near Dinkelsbühl (Ansbach district) on Wednesday and did not want to vacate its place, the police said on Thursday. The animal had to be caught with the help of employees of the building yard and several drivers. The swan was then taken unharmed to a sanctuary for wild birds, it said.
