Amberg (dpa / lby) - After an accident at a traffic light, a man in the Upper Palatinate fled in an unusual way. According to the police, the 52-year-old crashed into the vehicle in front of him at a red light near Amberg on Wednesday.

When the driver of the other car got out, the 52-year-old drove into the car again. Then he pushed the 36-year-old's car about 50 meters in front of him and then just drove away.

After a short search, the 52-year-old was arrested. The background to the escape on Tuesday morning was initially unclear.
