The pandemic in particular had noticeable consequences and will continue to have an impact in the future with a certain delay, said Bavaria's Health Minister Klaus Holetschek (CSU) on Thursday in Munich at the presentation of the state government's current child health report.
The lack of exercise among children and young people during the pandemic has increased, added sports and health scientist Renate Oberhoffer-Fritz from the Technical University of Munich, who specializes in children. "You couldn't have foreseen that to this extent." Something must be done about it together. Around 2.2 million children and young people live in Bavaria.
