Freising (dpa / lby) - A wrong-way driver caused a serious accident on the Autobahn 92 near Freising. The 78-year-old and his 77-year-old wife drove the wrong way onto the autobahn on Tuesday morning, the police said. When the couple drove into the car of a 43-year-old on the left lane, his vehicle overturned due to the force of the impact and came to rest in a ditch. The wrong-way driver, his wife and the 43-year-old were seriously but not fatally injured in the accident. The freeway was completely closed at times. The police are investigating.
