Klaus (dpa / lby) - A three-year-old fell into a ventilation shaft in Klaus, Austria, and had to be flown to the hospital with a rescue helicopter. The girl had played with other children on a ventilation grille at Klaus on Friday, the police said on Saturday.
The children jumped on the grille of the ventilation shaft until it gave way. While the other children were able to get to safety in time, the girl fell into the almost 5 meter deep shaft. It was recovered by first responders and is currently in the hospital. How she was injured was initially unknown.
