Bavaria: Transporter overloaded with three horses: brakes run hot

Nuremberg (dpa / lby) - Due to the weight of three horses, the brakes of an animal transporter on Autobahn 6 near Nuremberg ran hot. During a check, the police found that 64 percent were overloaded, a police spokesman said on Tuesday. The transport was therefore neither suitable for three horses nor for a long distance. The horses were housed appropriately on Monday until they could continue safely. The 40-year-old driver now faces a fine of more than 1,000 euros.
