Kulmbach (dpa / lby) - A drunk truck driver drove into a corn field next to the federal highway 85 near Kulmbach. As the police announced on Tuesday, the driver lost control on Monday morning and left the road with his trailer truck. The truck hit a tree and stopped in the cornfield. The emergency services found an alcohol level of 2 per mille and took the 53-year-old driver to a clinic to have his blood drawn. The B85 was completely closed for three hours to recover the semitrailer.
