Werneck (dpa / lby) - A truck driver was found to have clearly exceeded the driving time on the Autobahn 70 - he drove around 21 hours in one day. The 42-year-old was checked on Thursday on the A70 near Werneck (Schweinfurt district), the police said on Friday.
His digital control device was evaluated by the officers and further driving was then prohibited. The driver immediately had to take a rest period of at least eleven hours. A security deposit of 700 euros was withheld from him for the expected fine.
