Bavaria: truck loses wheel while driving

Kaisheim (dpa / lby) - A truck lost a wheel on the way in Swabia. After initial investigations, the police assume that the wheel nuts on the truck were loosened on purpose before the start of the journey in the Upper Bavarian district of Neuburg-Schrobenhausen. The 58-year-old truck driver noticed a violent shaking on Monday night on Bundesstraße 2 in Kaisheim and shortly afterwards saw that one of the wheels rolled past the side of the vehicle, the police said on Monday. Because the truck stopped in the middle of the B2, the police blocked the road for several hours. According to the information, no one was endangered in the incident. The police are investigating.
