Munich (dpa/lby) - Twelve people won millions in gambling in Bavaria in the first half of 2022. Around 295 million euros were paid out to lottery players in Bavaria during this period, the state lottery and casino administration announced on Thursday in Munich. The highest winnings went to Lower Franconia with more than 17 million. Around 212 million euros flowed into the state coffers for lottery tax, profit transfer and casino tax for charitable purposes.
