Erlangen (dpa / lby) - The University Hospital Erlangen is getting a new outpatient clinic for the treatment of post-Covid diseases. This was announced by the Bavarian Ministry of Science. The interdisciplinary facility should start at the beginning of December. "The post-Covid center at the University Hospital Erlangen closes a gap in the care of patients in northern Bavaria," explained Health Minister Klaus Holetschek (CSU).
"This gives post-Covid patients a central point of contact that can bundle and evaluate the test results and therapies," said Science Minister Markus Blume (CSU). "Post-Covid patients with severe illnesses can benefit from this." These often required interdisciplinary treatment.
