Bavaria: Unknown blow up ATMs in a residential area

Wernberg-Köblitz (dpa/lby) - Unknown perpetrators blew up an ATM in a residential area in the Upper Palatinate early on Wednesday morning. In the explosion in Wernberg-Köblitz (Schwandorf district), the VR bank was badly damaged, as a spokesman for the State Criminal Police Office announced on Wednesday. Debris and splinters were scattered around the building by the detonation. The explosion startled the residents from their sleep. Nobody got hurt. The police expect a high level of property damage, but have not yet been able to provide any more precise information.
