Heditions (dpa/lby) - Mane trimmed: Unknown persons have "drastically shortened" the hair of a horse in Heditions (Rhoen-Grabfeld district). The 51-year-old paddock owner reported the incident to officials on Wednesday, police said on Thursday. It is still unclear why the strangers first cut through the paddock fence and then continued on the mane of one of the horses. According to police, the animal was not injured. A mane can protect the horse from rain and insects.
