Halle (dpa/lby) - A man wanted by an arrest warrant allowed himself a cigarette in an on-board toilet of an ICE - and thus maneuvered himself into prison. On Thursday, the 34-year-old sentenced by the Kaufbeuren district court raised an alarm, as the federal police announced on Friday in Magdeburg. The man could not show a train attendant a ticket. When checking his personal details, federal police officers found that there was an execution arrest warrant.
According to the information, the man was sentenced by the Kaufbeuren District Court in February 2022 to a fine of 1,500 euros or a replacement prison term of 30 days for driving without a license. According to the information, he had neither paid nor served the sentence. Since he still did not pay the 1500 euros, he was taken to prison.
