Munich (dpa / lby) - The German Weather Service (DWD) has warned of extreme thunderstorms in three administrative districts in Bavaria. The DWD announced on Friday that there was an official severe weather warning for Middle Franconia, Upper Franconia and the Upper Palatinate until 6 p.m. In Nuremberg, among other places, hail fell in the afternoon.
Trees could be uprooted and roofs damaged, according to the DWD. Cellars and streets may be flooded. Windows and doors should be closed and people should stay indoors as much as possible.
