Bavaria: Weapon on the train: police operation in Upper Bavaria

Grafing near Munich (dpa / lby) - A drunk man handled a pistol on a train and thus triggered a large police operation in Upper Bavaria. A woman had observed the 40-year-old with the weapon on Wednesday and alerted the officials at the Rosenheim train station, the police said on Thursday. The train was then stopped in Grafing near Munich (Ebersberg district) and searched for the man.

The alarm pistol was finally found in the 40-year-old's backpack. He was provisionally arrested. An alcohol test showed more than two per thousand. The man is now being investigated for violating the Weapons Act because, according to the information, he does not have a gun license. The train was able to continue its journey with a delay of about an hour.
