Schwandorf (dpa / lby) - A wedding party slowed down traffic on the Autobahn 93 in the Upper Palatinate for three quarters of an hour. As the police reported on Monday, the wedding guests drove from Schwandorf to Franconia on Saturday at around 60 kilometers per hour. The vehicles would have occupied both lanes and endangered other road users. There have been multiple near misses.
"The whole spectacle to the detriment of other road users lasted about 45 minutes," reported the highway police. Now the "drivers of the illegal and dangerous vehicle hustle and bustle" are being investigated. The police are therefore looking for witnesses who observed the illegal wedding parade.
