Kempten (dpa / lby) - With suspected stolen goods, but without a valid ticket, a 33-year-old was traveling by train in the Oberallgäu district in the direction of Kempten. A train attendant heard the man boast on the phone on Wednesday that he had stolen three women's jackets from a shop, federal police said on Friday. The 38-year-old later found that the man had put the jackets in a compartment. When asked about this, the 33-year-old became aggressive and harassed two train attendants. They then locked themselves in a compartment and locked all the train doors. When entering the Kempten main station, the 33-year-old pressed the emergency release and tried to escape.
Federal police officers were able to arrest the man in the parking lot. He is already known to the police in 27 cases, including for narcotics and theft offenses.
