Garmisch-Partenkirchen (dpa/lby) - A good month after an act of violence in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, a young woman died as a result. As the police announced on Monday, the 21-year-old at the time of the crime at the end of October succumbed to her serious injuries in a hospital on Sunday. A few hours after the crime, the police arrested a 28-year-old suspect who was in custody - he was initially accused of attempted murder.
A police spokesman gave no further information on Monday about the motive and the course of events. The police investigations continued. The seriously injured 21-year-old was found in the driveway of an apartment building on the morning of October 25 and taken to a hospital. On the evening of the same day, the police arrested the suspect after a public search.
