Bavaria: woman rams her husband's car: police assume intentional

Laudenbach (dpa / lby) - The police in Lower Franconia are busy with a possibly unusual traffic accident. A woman apparently intentionally rammed her husband's car, the investigators said on Monday. The 48-year-old drove through Laudenbach (Miltenberg district) on Sunday with a 30-year-old passenger. As a police spokesman said, the 30-year-old is not related to the man.

According to the man, his 47-year-old wife suddenly drove her car towards him and accelerated more and more, it was said. According to the police, the couple had previously argued.

When the man tried to avoid his wife's car, she drove into the side of the car, the police spokesman said. The 30-year-old passenger suffered minor injuries and was then taken to the hospital. Both cars crashed into a garden fence. The police estimate the material damage to the fence and cars at around 100,000 euros.
