Amberg (dpa / lby) - A youth was lured into a trap, threatened with a gun and robbed. The police arrested the suspects, as stated in a statement on Thursday.
The 17-year-old was lured into an alleged drug deal with a 15-year-old on Sunday. According to the police, the actual reason for the staged meeting was the 17-year-old's debts to a 24-year-old other party.
At the meeting point in Amberg, three people were waiting for the youth, who threatened him with a gun, physically attacked him and sprayed him with pepper spray. They stole his valuables and the drugs he had brought with him. The 24-year-old and a 21-year-old accomplice took him to a waiting car in which another person was sitting. In a forest, they continued to threaten and beat the youth. Finally, the perpetrators let him go near the old town.
Civil investigators arrested the three suspects. The police also tracked down the driver of the car, who was also provisionally arrested. An arrest warrant was issued against the 24-year-old on suspicion of aggravated robbery, kidnapping by extortion and dangerous bodily harm. The 17-year-old is also being investigated for violating the Narcotics Act.
