Nuremberg (dpa / lby) - 1. FC Nuremberg has equipped attacker Jermain Nischalke with a professional contract. "Jermain has the tools to become a really good striker. In the first six months he has impressively shown his qualities in the U23s and in professional training," said Nuremberg sports director Olaf Rebbe, according to the club's announcement from the Franconian second division soccer team on Monday evening.
So far this season, Nischalke has played in the Regionalliga Bayern and scored nine goals in 19 games there. "It's a dream come true for me. I'm trying to keep pushing myself in training with the pros and I'm happy to be able to take the next step in my career here," said the teenager.
