Munich (dpa / lby) - TSV 1860 Munich won the top game in the 3rd football league against SV Wehen Wiesbaden. After a boost in performance in the second half, the "Lions" won 3-1 (0-0) and consolidated their second place in the table behind leaders SV Elversberg.

Yannick Deichmann (54th minute) with a toe and Meris Skenderovic (79th) and Tim Rieder (80th) with a double hit scored for Munich on Saturday in front of 15,000 spectators. Suheyel Najar (90.2) scored the consolation goal for the Hessians shortly before the end.

"It was incredibly fun," said Deichmann after the home win at Magentasport. "But we're a little annoyed that we didn't score in the early stages."

In the first half, the Munich goalkeeper Marco Hiller had to prevent the deficit against the former 60s Benedict Hollerbach twice in an intensive showdown.
