Belek (dpa/lby) - In the first test of the new year, TSV 1860 Munich celebrated a notable success against second division soccer team 1. FC Kaiserslautern. The "Lions", who are aiming for promotion in the 3rd division, drew 1-1 (0-0) from the "Red Devils" on Sunday. Kenny Prince Redondo scored the opening goal for coach Dirk Schuster's team in the 56th minute. Munich's Martin Kobylanski scored in injury time to make it 1-1.
The encounter took place as part of the Munich training camp in the Turkish seaside resort of Belek. Coach Michael Köllner's team is preparing for the start of the second half of the season four days later at SV Waldhof Mannheim until January 10th.
