Bayern: All-clear for Fürth's goalkeeper Linde: No fracture of the head

Fürth (dpa / lby) - SpVgg Fürth was able to give their injured goalkeeper Andreas Linde a slight all-clear. The 29-year-old Swede did not suffer a facial fracture when he collided with Düsseldorf attacker Rouwen Hennings in the 2-2 draw on Sunday. The investigations at Linde had shown "that nothing was broken", as the second division soccer team announced on Monday.

Linde had fended off a penalty from Hennings with his foot in Düsseldorf. The shooter followed suit and poked the ball into the goal, but also hit Linde, who was already on the ball with his hand, with his knee in the face. Linde was able to continue playing with a laceration to the head until the break. He was then replaced by Leon Schaffran.
