Würzburg (dpa / lby) - The Würzburg Baskets will probably have to do without center Filip Stanic at the start of the basketball Bundesliga season in October. As the Lower Franconia announced on Wednesday, the 24-year-old suffered a broken bone in training and will be out for "several weeks".
The Würzburgers are also looking for a successor to Max Besselink. The Finn has not yet arrived at the team due to his commitments for the Finnish national team. "We have therefore agreed with Max and his agent to terminate the contract by mutual consent," said Managing Director Steffen Liebler.
