Bayern: Bayern basketball players get US national team Cheatham

Munich (dpa / lby) - The basketball players of FC Bayern signed the US national player Zylan Cheatham before the crucial months of the season. As the Munich Bundesliga club announced on Monday, the 27-year-old winger comes from the Birmingham Squadrons and signs a contract until the end of the season. FCB sporting director Daniele Baiesi praised the newcomer's "incredible athleticism and great versatility in defence": "He was immediately enthusiastic about starting his overseas career with us and we are just as pleased that he has joined us."
