Nuremberg (dpa / lby) - Sport director Dieter Hecking wants to make his future at 1. FC Nuremberg also dependent on his private life. "The club have indicated that they are happy with my work and want to work with me beyond June 30, 2023. Discussions are ongoing but it is not about contract length or money. I have a few issues to work through for myself "Hecking (57) told the "Nürnberger Nachrichten" and the "Nürnberger Zeitung" (Friday) in an interview before the Franconia derby against SpVgg Greuther Fürth on Saturday (1 p.m. / Sky).
There is "being a commuter with a 500-kilometer one-way trip to my family in Hanover, which leads to discussions with my wife about how much longer I want to do it.
