Regensburg (dpa/lby) - The home game of SSV Jahn Regensburg in the 2nd Bundesliga against SC Paderborn in mid-March was brought forward by the German Football League (DFL). As the DFL announced on Friday, the game will now take place on March 18 (1 p.m.). The reason: The Lower Saxony police have made a new assessment of the derby between Eintracht Braunschweig and Hannover 96. This encounter was scheduled for March 18 (1:00 p.m.) and will now be played the following day on March 19 (1:30 p.m.).
Since the DFL wants to keep the usual number of games on Saturdays and Sundays, the game between Regensburg and Paderborn was brought forward by one day from March 19th to March 18th after consultation with the clubs.
