Regensburg (dpa/lby) - SSV Jahn Regensburg has resumed training after the first World Cup break without captain Benedikt Gimber, who has injured his shoulder. The 25-year-old midfielder was absent from coach Mersad Selimbegovic on Monday. Canadian defender Scott Kennedy, who also had a shoulder injury, did some laps on the pitch. Defender Lasse Günther was at least partially able to train with the team again after suffering an ankle injury.

Defender Leon Guwara was fully involved in the unit after recovering from injury. "The injury was a long story. Now I can build up well again," he told the "Mittelbayerische Zeitung". For the twelfth place in the 2nd Bundesliga on January 28th it will be back at SV Darmstadt.
