Bayern: Jahn Regensburg brings goalkeeper Stojanovic from Middlesbrough

Regensburg (dpa/lby) - SSV Jahn Regensburg continues to work hard on its squad for the coming season in the 2nd Bundesliga. In goalkeeper Dejan Stojanovic, the Upper Palatinate presented the third new signing on Friday. The 28-year-old keeper comes from the English second division club FC Middlesbrough, from whom he was loaned to FC Ingolstadt in the second half of last season.

"With him we have been able to sign a goalkeeper who, on the one hand, has repeatedly demonstrated the qualities he has and, on the other hand, we are convinced that his personal and sporting development is far from over," said sporting director Roger Stilz the obligation.

Jahn's previous goalkeeper Alexander Meyer had left Regensburg after the season and is to switch to Borussia Dortmund. Stojanovic should now be number one in goal. He has a "very good feeling" about his new job, said Stojanovic. "I've already had a few stations in my career where I've learned a lot. I'm now trying to bring this experience with me to Regensburg."
