Regensburg (dpa / lby) - SSV Jahn Regensburg and goalkeeper coach Ronny Zeiss (50) separate. As the second division soccer team announced on Thursday, the contract was terminated by mutual consent after just over two years.
"Ronny approached us in a personal conversation and expressed his wish to be able to take up an attractive position that is much closer to his home and family and to terminate his current contract with SSV Jahn prematurely. We have complied with his wish mature consideration", explained managing director Roger Stilz.
Until further notice, the coaching team around Mersad Selimbegovic will organize the goalkeeper training. "We are giving ourselves the necessary time to fill the position," said Stilz. Zeiss had previously worked in Leipzig and Cottbus for a long time.
