Regensburg (dpa/lby) - SSV Jahn Regensburg scored half a dozen goals in the friendly against FSV Zwickau. The second division soccer team won 6: 2 (1: 1) against the third division team on Friday. Maximilian Thalhammer (37th minute), Andreas Albers (64th), Benedikt Gimber (68th), twice Joel Zwarts (78th, 90th) and Aygün Yildirim (81st) were successful for coach Mersad Selimbegovic's team. Lukas Krüger (12th) and Noah Agbaje (56th) had given the Zwickau team a temporary lead.
For the Regensburg team, the next friendly will start on Saturday (2:00 p.m.) in Rieden. The Jahn then competes with the SpVgg Bayreuth. In the 2nd Bundesliga, the Upper Palatinate will meet SV Darmstadt at home on the first day of the game on July 16 (1 p.m.).
