Bayern: Jahn wants to "take one step more" against Bielefeld

Regensburg (dpa/lby) - After the successful start in the 2nd Bundesliga, SSV Jahn Regensburg wants to show even more commitment in its first away game. "We have to keep at it and take one more step," demanded coach Mersad Selimbegovic before the difficult guest game this Sunday (1.30 p.m. / Sky) against Arminia Bielefeld. The new coach Uli Forte, who was relegated to the Bundesliga, botched his start in the 2-1 draw against SV Sandhausen.

The 2-0 win in the home game against SV Darmstadt, on the other hand, gave the Regensburgers confidence. "I notice the spirit. I notice that the boys have found each other. That is the basis in this league for Jahn Regensburg," said Selimbegovic on Friday.

Transfers are not to be expected from the Upper Palatinate in the near future. "What we've done so far is good," said Selimbegovic. "We're trying, we're in talks and we're seeing what's possible. But there's not much prospect of anything happening in the next few days."
