During the first check in Prien am Chiemsee (Rosenheim district) on Tuesday night, a breath alcohol test carried out on the 57-year-old showed a value of more than 0.5 per mille, the police said on Wednesday. He would therefore have expected a fine of 500 euros and a one-month driving ban.
However, the man was noticed again about an hour later with his car by another patrol. During the second check, a breath alcohol test was carried out again, which was also reported to be above 0.5 per mille.
The fine will now be higher, and the man must now expect a driving ban of several months, it said.
