Bayern: Nuremberg coach Hecking: "Don't make HSV too big"

Nuremberg (dpa / lby) - Nuremberg's interim coach Dieter Hecking is optimistic about the away game at Hamburger SV despite the blatant outsider role. "We shouldn't make HSV too big now," said the coach of the Franconian second division soccer team about his former club. Despite the many victories, the Hamburg team also had games this season "where things weren't so smooth".

On Saturday (1 p.m. / Sky) things should go well for the “Club” in the north. "The last few weeks have shown that every opponent has always had the opportunity to take something away from them," said Hecking. The Nurembergers also wanted to orientate themselves on this. Nevertheless, Hecking also acknowledged the high individual quality of the Hamburg squad. "The table doesn't lie. They must be good if they're up there."

The Franconian list of injuries is still long before the north-south summit. Hecking has to do without around ten players, including offensive players Pascal Köpke and Benjamin Goller. After 22 match days, Nuremberg is currently in 12th place in the table.
