Bayern: Nürnberg Ice Tigers without top scorer Stoa for several months

Nuremberg (dpa / lby) - The Nuremberg Ice Tigers have to accept another long-term failure. As the Franconian club from the German Ice Hockey League announced on Saturday, Nuremberg's top scorer Ryan Stoa suffered a serious lower body injury in training on Friday and needs an operation. According to the club, the 35-year-old American will be out for around three months. The Ice Tigers are already without defender Nicholas Welsh and forward Charlie Jahnke. They have therefore announced that they will sign another player shortly.
