Bayern: Regensburg brings back midfielder Mees on loan

Regensburg (dpa / lby) - SSV Jahn Regensburg has brought Joshua Mees back from league competitor Holstein Kiel on loan. As the Upper Palatinate second division soccer club announced on Tuesday, the 26-year-old offensive player should score goals for Jahn again next season. "On the one hand, there is his undisputed quality of play on the pitch, his technique and his playfulness. On the other hand, Joshua is a reflective guy," said sporting director Roger Stilz about Mees' return.

The striker had already worn the Regensburg jersey in the 2017/18 season. "This season has played a big role in my career, it was my first professional season. It was a lot of fun, we were successful and I look back on it positively," Mees said in retrospect.
