Bayern: Straubing Tigers sign goalkeeper Miska

Straubing (dpa/lby) - The Straubing Tigers have occupied the goalkeeper position for the coming season in the German Ice Hockey League. As the Lower Bavarians announced on Saturday, goalie Hunter Miska (27) will stand between the posts for the Tigers in the future. After a total of 113 games in North America's second division, the AHL, Miska made five saves for the Colorado Avalanche in the NHL last season. "Hunter is an established AHL goalie who comes to us from an excellent organization and brings experience from various leagues to Straubing," said Straubing's sporting director, Jason Dunham, explaining the future collaboration.
