Brett Favre is open to a broadcasting career if offered a "great deal".

Brett Favre loves easy money. Favre should be able to get in on the action with the networks, as they pay a lot of money for former big-name players.

It is not surprising that the 52-year old Hall of Famer said to TMZ.com, more than a decade after his paid career, that he was open to a broadcasting career.

Favre stated, "I would consider it." Favre said that it would need to be a "great deal", but not as much as a no-show government gig. It could involve Monday or Thursday night games.

Favre had a brief stint as a college football analyst. He was criticised for his work on a 2011 game between Rice and Southern Mississippi. He reportedly bombed a Monday Night Football audition in 2018. Favre however disputes that description.
