California standoff suspect Detained after livestreaming himself with gun; Two women found dead

A 29-year-old old defendant who'd allegedly livestreamed himself at an apartment with a gun and two girls lying on the ground was detained in Northern California on Saturday following an eight-hour standoff with authorities , for example SWAT staff.

Authorities in Vacaville, about 55 miles north of San Francisco, reacted to the apartment complex prior to 1 a.m. after a girl who'd witnessed the livestream reported visiting that the girls motionless on the ground, FOX 40 at Sacramento reported.

After hours of failed discussions with the defendant, who police did not identify, officers used"diversion devices and chemical agents" in an effort to coax him from their flat.

Both girls on the ground were discovered dead, police said. Their causes of death weren't revealed and they weren't identified, pending notification of family, based on FOX 40.

It was uncertain if he'll face murder charges.
