Chris Pincher: New sex assault allegations about Tamworth MP

Additional allegations of sexual assault against Chris Pincher, former deputy chief whip, have been filed.

Daniel Cook, a Conservative councillor, said to Channel 4 News that Mr Pincher was suspended by the Tory party because he had groped him in 2005, 2006.

Mr. Pincher is an MP in Tamworth, Staffordshire. Mr. Cook was the deputy mayor of Tamworth council.

According to the BBC, Mr Pincher strongly denies such conduct.

He said that Mr. Cook had never brought it up with him.

An ex-council leader, Mr Cook spoke out to express anger at the events and asked for Mr Pincher's expulsion from the Tory party.

Last week, allegations surfaced that Mr Pincher groped two men at a private club. This led to his suspension.

Boris Johnson, Prime Minister of Britain, was then questioned by his party members about his knowledge and how he handled the allegations.

On Tuesday, he apologized for appointing Mr Pincher in the government position. He admitted that he was told about a 2019 complaint and said he had made "a mistake."

This triggered a series of resignations within government, including Sajid Javid, former health secretary, and Rishi Sunak (chancellor), just minutes after the prime minister's announcement.

Boris Johnson, Conservative leader, has resigned.

Pincher faces a series of allegations of inappropriate behavior dating back many years. He has denied these claims.

Two police agencies investigated allegations of sexual assault by Mr Pincher. One in London in 2010 and 2012 and one in Staffordshire in May 2019

Both investigations did not result in any action, and Mr Pincher denied the allegations.

Mr. Cook stated that he met Mr. Pincher in 2004 when he was about 28 years old, while he was running for Tamworth council.

He campaigned alongside Mr Pincher and others. Mr Cook claimed that the parliamentary candidate had taken Mr Pincher under his wing.

Channel 4 was told by the councillor that Mr Pincher was drunk both times he was assaulted.

Cook stated that Mr Pincher visited his home in 2005 with a colleague from the council and "cupped his hands around my genitals". He then asked him if he had any good porn.

He claimed that Mr Pincher had once again been to his home "stinking drunk", and had grabbed him from the behind.

The councillor stated that Mr Pincher spoke of his fellow Conservative as "a rising star" in politics in Tamworth.

Cook claimed that he had laughed it off the first time and pushed him away. But the second time, he had thrown him against the fridge and physically thrown his son out of his home, while observing him stumble down his driveway.

He stated that he was angry at what happened and that he had come forward to make other allegations.

Cook said that he could have spoken up earlier if he did.

A spokesperson for Conservative Party stated that Mr Pincher's membership in the Conservative Party had been suspended while an investigation is underway.
